About Make That Difference
I have had a varied career as a registered nurse, research scientist, senior health authority advisor, specialist health visitor and much more. This enables me to offer a richness of experience and understanding to my clients. My interest in psychology and how people tick goes right back to early childhood where my personal experiences stirred me to search to understand and develop my own strategies for survival.
I witnessed my mother and others spend their lives not moving forward because of their past, detracting so much from their own natural brilliance - impacting on their life, well-being and relationships. I chose to take a very different stand as I have a strong aversion to being stuck and not making progress. I know that each and every one of us has greater ability than we currently live to, and that there is great joy in life in persevering, learning, and striving to make things ever better for ourselves and others. Learning keeps us alive and alert and by being aware of what we do and how we do it, we can become ever more effective - creating great change and benefit wherever we choose.
It is with this passion that I work with my clients, who have been delighted with the difference that they make in their lives with my support and guidance. They have achieved promotions and better jobs, set up and established businesses, written and published first books and more. They have also all built their confidence and improved their relationships, health, energy, and love.
I continuously engage in CPD (Continual Professional Development) to further develop my coaching skills, and abilities to become ever more effective in everything I do.
I am an ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited coach, (this year I hope to achieve Professional Certified Coach with the ICF as I am nearing the 750 hours of coaching required and am happy to jump through the other hoops to get the PCC ICF accreditation). I am also a master practitioner of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). I have very strong life skills and health background - working with professionals and families across the spectrum of life issues including addiction, bereavement, disability, parenting, domestic violence, abuse, weight loss, professional support and mentoring.
